danii roundtree

i met danii through marshana. danii is the 2008 “miss new york” and ended up getting a golden ticket to hollywood for season 8 of “american idol,” but got cut once she was there and didn’t make the tv edit. she’s got a few more tricks up her sleeve and you might be seeing her on the screen again soon.

if you’re a fan of “the bachelor,” you probably remember marshana on season 8 getting into a fight with some girl and marshana kept saying, “walk off! walk off!! walk off!” since i turn my tv on like once a year, i had to do a little youtube action to get the skinny. turned out that ellen degeneres loved that argument so much that she had marshana on her show shortly after and gave marshana these “walk off” pants. we took this shot to send to ellen. hope she likes it…

we shot these at renay’s apt. makeup by drea senyitko. i don’t watch a lot of tv and the day we were shooting, the rachael ray show was on. first off, i had no idea that rachael ray had a show. second, i said, “what happened? rachael ray used to be super hot” and the girls had no idea what i was talking about. so we googled pictures and sure enough, there she was all smokin hot, sultrily taking a turkey out of the oven in a short skirt and bra.
renay's place has rad natural light. i kind of get in a medium fury when i see places like that and think about how my apartment is such a cave...
